Before the photographer arrives…
What you should do before a photo or video shoot to best prepare the property—
Turn ceiling fans off.
Turn ON overhead lights and lamps.
Open any curtains and shutters to encourage natural light.
Toilet lids should be closed, and toiletry items put away.
Make the beds, put away laundry, toys and clutter in closets.
Move trash cans to the garage, pantry, or closets.
Small kitchen appliances need to be removed, if possible.
The counters should be clear to emphasize spaciousness.
Clear the front and top of the refrigerator of any distractions.
Remove pet food bowls and toys, and please contain pets.
Remove any personal items such as framed family photos, schedules, school calendars, etc. to best protect your privacy.
Please make sure the driveway is clear of vehicles, outdoor toys, trash can, etc.
Enhancing the best rooms or features of your home. Do you have a wine cooler? Stock it up so it is showed off well! Pool? Turn on the lights and be sure that the area around it is clear for the perfect shot!
If you are not home for the appointment, I will turn on lights as needed, and turn them back off before I leave.
Please remember that the property is photographed in as-is condition and therefore should be staged and photo-ready prior to my arrival.
